My name is Barbara Conley and I am running for Leelanau Township Supervisor to make this great township a place where everyone can thrive.

I live in Northport with my husband and our dog, Peppermint. We have 3 grown children and two grandchildren. I was born and raised in Michigan and am lucky enough to live in beautiful Leelanau Township full time (since 2016)!

I had a great career as a medical oncologist; I worked with the best patients and professionals and helped develop better treatments. As a volunteer I have gotten to know this exceptional community and learned the skills to serve as Township Supervisor.

My Service Experience

• Board of Health trustee for over 5 years
• Volunteered during COVID for contact tracing and immunizations
• Elected to the Northport Public School Board of Education (2020)
• Appointed to Northport Village Council (2023)
• Volunteer for Power Bookbags, Leelanau Investing for Teens & the Community Health Innovation Region’s Behavioral Health Initiative
• Member of Rotary, League of Women Voters, Northport Bay Yacht Club & NAHA
